SCB "Intercoopbank" OAO- OJSC

SCB "Intercoopbank" (OAO - OJSC) (Bank of Russia License N 2803) was founded by consumer cooperation enterprises in 1994 for an indefinite period of time. The Bank has been conducting intense banking activity during over 10 years.The Bank was originally founded to perform banking services for consumer cooperation enterprises.

Late in 2002 main Shareholders of the Bank changed. New shareholders conducted placement of additional shares of the 5-th share issue. As a result of this the share capital of the Bank increased to 60 000 000 roubles. New shareholders set main business priorities of the Bank.

The key task set by the Shareholders for the Bank management was to ensure development in the following fields: investment banking and project finace, development of modern financial technologies, development of customized services for corporate and retail customers as well.

In order to ensure dynamic development and to extend the range of banking services the Shareholders resolved to conduct additional issue of shares and to increase the share capital to 280 million roubles. The placement of additional shares was completed in May of 2004.

The Bank is a member of the National Securities Market Association. In August of 2003 the Russian Federal Commission for the Securities Market granted to the Bank licenses for conducting broker, dealer, depository activity and securities management.

The Bank is a member of Moscow Interbank Currency Exchange (MICEX) and REUTERS information system.

In September of 2003 the Bank became a member of "VISA International" and "Master Card" international payment systems.

In April of 2004 the Bank was granted a license for conducting precious metals operations

The Bank created the software to provide money transfers of private individuals without account opening. From the technical point of view this software has a number of advantages compared with the software of other money transfer systems. In 2003 on the basis of this software the Bank foundedthe money transfer system "INTEREXPRESS"which allows money transfers to be completed on-line
